My 89-year-old mother was transferred here after being hospitalized for a stroke, and our experience was extremely disappointing. When I arrived around 6:00 p.m. on a weekday, there was no one at the front, and it took several staff members and about 10 minutes before anyone could even tell me where my mom was.<br><br>When I found her, she was very upset. She told me she had to find her own walker and pick her own bed. Her bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels, and she felt like she had simply been left in her room with no orientation or explanation of what to expect. She was thirsty, but because the kitchen was closed, I was told the only thing available was a small paper cup of water.<br><br>The facility itself appeared dirty once you got beyond the main entrance. Hallways were cluttered with wheelchairs, the common area looked neglected, and many residents appeared to be sitting without much interaction. The following day I watched a resident struggling to propel herself across the building in a wheelchair while several staff members stood nearby, and I never saw anyone offer assistance.<br><br>To their credit, the administrator and director of nursing called me the next

Seems short staffed during the day. Their aids seem overworked and I never see any aid appreciation things. Not like the other facilities. This one seems like the forgotten duckling of this company. Care is still alright but if you can get in with other facilities in this company

Never answer the phone just rings and rings, then goes to fast busy and hangs up. Have they heard of voicemail? This place is taking care of ill patients and maybe family members might like to have someone answer the phone or at least let you leave a message or call back number for when they are less busy.
