★★★★☆Everytime that I visit a friend here,The experience is positive. The staff are pleasant .The overall theme expresses Christian values and some of the artwork points to God where help and hope are found.<br>The bldg is older and somethings like the roof over the outdoor smoking area and the parking lot are in need of attention,,but the interior is clean .The residents appear to be attended to,and my friend is making the best of it compared to his other nursing experiences.
★☆☆☆☆My grandmother was admitted here and her room was not cleaned before her admission. The toilet had feces in it and on it. The bathroom floor was wet with something and filthy and disgusting, there was arms from an old commode that was in the bathroom on the floor posing as a fall risk. when you walked around the area where her bed was the floor was so sticky that your shoes were sticking into it, and there was a wet floor sign under the side of her dresser by her doorway which posed as a fall risk. the privacy curtain was filthy and disgusting with stains on it! Her TV in her room was not working. It was 8pm and her tray from dinner she had hours ago was still in her room. When I presented these problems to the assistant Director of nursing Karen, all she gave me was a smart mouth and attitude, stating that there was no rooms available for her on the skilled rehab unit and that if I am dissatisfied and we wanted to take her to another nursing home we will have to sign AMA papers, instead of trying to correct the situation and possibly move her to another room that was suitable and clean.
