My mom has been here for a month inpatient for rehab after a fall and everything I’ve seen had been amazing from Briarfield Manor! They have the best physical therapy program that was recommended by my MIL who just retired from the healthcare field. My mom feels heard and every time she needs assistance someone is answering her call in a timely manner. She’s met the owner multiple times and she knows my mom by name, she also got to meet the chef and loves the food (and also says they feed her too much). They also make sure my mom isn’t in her room all day and makes it a point to take her to a daily event like yesterday there was a dj and she was so excited to go to a “concert” and she also got a haircut at the salon. My mom and I even learned about the nurses taking care of her and how a whole family works here together (wife, husband, sister, mom) taking care of people. I was so nervous making the decision of where to put my mom when she needed to stay in a nursing home, & the other reviews made me even more nervous but I can say from first hand experience that this place is great! A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulder knowing she’s well taken care of.

Staff are ignorant! They walk around with attitudes, don’t fill water in oxygen tank, don’t give my mom her meds on time and she is in chronic pain due to a cancerous tumor on her lungs, they don’t clean her room properly. There is no HIPPA Privacy, she fell out of bed they threw her back in it when she tried to get up from being thrown down so hard they pushed her back down. I asked the one nurse why she had to have an attitude she got all bent of shape then would not give my mom her meds again. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!
