★☆☆☆☆They neglect the patients. they leave them laying in their own feces and urine, refusing to change them making excuses on why they won’t care for them. My brother had maggots growing out of his feet and toenails neglect of changing his wound-bandages.
★☆☆☆☆I can’t speak on any floor except third. My dad was here for a year, and he was ok as long as he could still manage himself. When he clearly needed more attention for his condition, this place failed and couldn’t do basic things such as pay attention. Care meetings were useless and this place is not for anyone who has moderate/advanced dementia and who still have energy. I was told he walked out the facility.. that’s how much they don’t pay residents any attention. My dad not only made it on the elevator, but walked pass the front desk who’s never paying attention either. I’ve sent emails to Don with no responses. There’s absolutely no stimulation for memory care patients and the nurses will never check in to make sure the residents aren’t dying of pure boredom. They sent my dad to the hospital for aggression after ignoring him for months, and I thank God that happened because now he’s at a better place with games, activities and a more competent and attentive staff. Suburban THIRD FLOOR HAS No activities, no music,<br>no nothing. It’s truly dead and cold up there. PLEASE don’t send anyone here. They only have good rooms, and the food isn’t bad but quality of life is terrible.
★★★☆☆On first look entering the building it meets the eye test in appearance/cleanliness. Employees were pleasant and helpful. But, it was not the same environment upon entering Mr. Black’s room. It had a strong smell of urine and his sheets were dirty.
★★★★★The staff at Suburban Healthcare are the most caring and compassionate team I have had the pleasure of meeting! The DON is absolutely amazing, the floor staff are very welcoming, I could not think of anyone else who I would trust to over see the care of my loved one!
