I enjoy being at The Oaks at Bethesda! I enjoy the exercise programs and the outings. I love socializing with everyone from staff to other residents!

I wish I could give this facility more than 5 stars. My grandmother was there and she received the best care! From nursing, all the way to the housekeeping, everything was amazing. The staff is so caring and really takes the time to know and love your people, the food is great, and the activities are awesome. I would never recommend a facility other than this one, and anybody who is looking for a place for their loved one; you would make the right decision by choosing this one!

Zero stars would be a more accurate rating for this facility. I strongly urge families to look elsewhere. The positive picture painted during our tour completely vanished on day one. Intake was cold, mechanical, and lacked basic compassion. During my mother’s short stay, our family had to constantly demand basic hygiene care, such as daily baths and clean clothes. Most concerningly, they accepted her knowing the hospital recommended specialized memory care, which they are not equipped to handle. Instead, they kept her for two weeks under skilled nursing, only to discharge her because she wasn't "progressing"—an outcome we explicitly warned them would happen. In my opinion, they knowingly admitted an unsuitable patient simply to collect the guaranteed Medicare funds before forcing her out.

My grandmother has been there for two years. She absolutely loves it here. We 100% would recommend to anyone.
