★☆☆☆☆My father was here, suffering from Lewy Body Dementia. My mother paid close to $6,000 a month for his care. He didn't have his medication for a first couple of days he was there. Wouldn't listen to her when she advised when to give him a certain medication which helped him sleep. The sundowners would act up, which the medication helped with and my mother who took care of him at home knew what the best time was. From what I could tell most of the residence on the memory ward were drugged up and either in their rooms or in front of the tv. I'm guessing this made it easier on the staff to not have to work with them. My dad was transferred to the psych ward at the hospital more then once as they claimed he was aggressive. Yet he did just fine as the hospital and not issues what so ever. Tried to explain to staff that if they gave him something to do during the day, even something small he would be fine. They eventually told my mom he had to leave due to his supposed aggression.<br>Hire people who know how to work with a dementia resident who isn't drugged all day. For what they market about how great and caring this place is you should do much better.
★★★★★My Uncle lives Kingston. The rooms, staff, food and activities are great.
★★★★★I love this Dr office! Great customer service! 💜
★☆☆☆☆The rehabilitation nurses on floor 3 are absolutely horrible. They do not take care of patients whatsoever. Our loved one has fallen several times we’ve actually visited to find them on the floor. Called the nurses station several times to use the bathroom (loved one cannot get up alone to walk and needs assistance- they know this) and they just ignore the lights. Found our love one in the bathroom alone and had poop all over the bed , the toilet and herself. Went unassisted as they to not answer the call light. When a family member came the nurse/aide was asked to clean up she went to get cleaning supplies (so she stated) but never returned. The family member had to clean up the mess. This what over $500 a month gets you. Would not ever recommend this place!
