★☆☆☆☆DO NOT PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. My mother with dementia was thrown out like trash. Not given anything to help her rest which resulted in acute delirium and behavioral issues. Instead of taking accountability they issued an emergency discharge and kicked my mother out permanently.
★★★★★The staff is amazing! They are so patient and kind. Whenever I visit my dad he is getting the attention and care he needs. The staff goes above and beyond!
★☆☆☆☆My grandmother is in this god-awful facility. It is honestly the worst facility I’ve ever been in, and I am a nurse and have worked in several places. They say the memory care unit is a skilled unit as well, but about 60% or more of their patients have major psych issues as well. Because I’m not POA my aunt put my grandmother in here after she ran out of money because she was living in assisted-living.
She used to be covered in bruises every time I would visit her double black eyes fingers, bruised forehead. They were not doing any interventions to protect her. They were claiming that she was falling forward in her wheelchair. Well, if that was the case, you would make some sort of nursing intervention to correct to prevent. I had to call hospice and advocate for my grandmother to have a special chair because the Nurses here clearly don’t know how to look out for the well-being of their patients and do a little extra work. I also found my grandmother with a seeping left ear full of yellow pus, which no one seemed to know anything about major infection so clearly they do not pay attention to these patients !

My grandmother’s health has declined significant. She is bedbound
★☆☆☆☆This place is incompetent. Do not put your loved one here. They do not know how to assess patients or properly care for dying patients. I have a friend who has a loved one here who is on hospice and was appalled, watching their staff just pass by her loved one’s room ignoring her cries & moaning. ( my friend face-timed me on and off for two days while she was there, I heard her grandmother, screaming, crying wailing watched her facial, grimacing it was horrible ) When she asked if they could medicate her, they said she was not due for medicine however as a healthcare provider, I know that if a patient’s pain is not being controlled, and they are on hospice, then you need to reassess & call hospice & medicate the patient. I also have watched them ask her loved one who is incoherent most of the time who is moaning in horrible pain due to terminal agitation asking her if she would like pain medicine? Where is the nursing assessment skills? Any competent nurse knows that if a patient is incoherent and is in pain then you use your nursing assessment skills to Medicate especially hospice palliative care end of life care! These nurses are downright scary and incompetent! She came back in
