★★★★★Dennis and I moved to a FCV Manor Home in 2022. We loved the ambiance and neighborhood feel. Yet we were connected to residents in the Chelsea and Fairfax through dining, lunch in the Bistro and many community meetings and outings. In 2025, I lost my husband and moved to a smaller apartment in the Chelsea. I had lots of family support to facilitate the move logistics. But it was the Marketing group support to help me select the right unit and the emotional support of the entire FCV community that left me forever grateful for the 2022 choice to live at FCV.
★★★★★From the moment they set foot in First Community Village, my in-laws knew it was the right place for them. As the person who helped them manage their transition, I couldn’t agree more. The entire First Community team was exceptionally gracious and eager to help as we set about making their new apartment feel like home. Communication was outstanding. Questions were answered quickly and patiently. No request was dismissed, and even the smallest details were handled with care. That, along with the fact that the food is delicious, the grounds and buildings are stunning, and the other residents are exceptionally friendly and kind made the entire family feel as if we had made the perfect choice.
★★★★★This place is awesome! Have made a ton of friends. Everyone here is so friendly! The food is amazing- haven’t had a bad meal yet. Also the campus is gorgeous with lots of trees and flowers. Wish I’d moved in 5 years earlier! Ten, even. There is so much to do from woodworking to Trivia to dance class to field trips. Best part: sitting in a comfy chair on the patio with a frosty beverage and watching someone ELSE mow.

I knew when the time came that would be my first choice. the transition to the Village was first Class living in every way. Our Condo is beautiful. We describe living here in Independent Living as living at a resort. The Staff, the dining and the beautiful grounds all add up to A plus living.

Aubrey has taken us on many tours, as family in and out of town wanted to see where we will be spending the next chapter of our lives, having lived in the same house in Arlington for over 51 years. Aubrey is knowledgeable, sincere, warm and so nice. She understands our feelings about making this move and has guided us appropriately. Thank you, Aubrey!

★★★★★First Community Village is our new home. We previously lived and raised our family in the same home for 40 years and were apprehensive about moving to a new community and style of living. What we experienced was the smoothest of transitions we could imagine. After visiting other senior living facilities where friends live and experiencing the food and living conditions in those places we decided that First Community Village was the right place for us. We realize everyone seeks a place that has in mind a “Goldilocks” environment that is “just right” and that there is a no such thing as “one size fits all”. However, First Community Village checked all our boxes which were :<br>-Walkable, paved trails with trees and gardens open to surrounding neighborhood<br>-Dog friendly, big dogs as well as small<br>-Safe even if Honey our Golden Retriever needs to go out at night.<br>-Full service, a range of support services we might need as we age.<br>-Intellectually stimulating. Programs and neighbors who make life stimulating and lifelong learning possible<br>-Attractive surroundings: interesting architecture and art<br>-Not too big (just right size, small cruise ship vs mega liner)<br>-Welco
