★★★☆☆Cranberry Park assisted living (previously called Whetstone assisted living), has nice facilities and generally well-intentioned staff, but it struggles with consistent understaffing. This is especially true on weekends, holidays, and post-pandemic periods. Coordination between the Cranberry Park and the rehabilitation facility is lacking. Therapy sessions are frequently delayed or shortened, basic assistance (meals, bathroom) takes too long, and communication among staff is poor (e.g., not knowing patients' hearing issues, dementia, or mobility needs).

Despite looking great on paper, the ongoing excuses and subpar service would lead me to recommend this as not a first choice for someone to live. In fact it almost appears as if they have put zero marketing effort into this facility as there is no website, for social media presence. This leads me to believe that they often market to people directly when they come to the rehabilitation facility and people end up moving to Cranberry Park because it is convenient, not necessarily because it is the best option. In the end it gets three stars because it is not egregiously bad, but does not meet the expectations for the money pa
