This facility is clean and beautiful but the quality of care from some of the nurses on DHall were a complete joke. My mother was placed in this facility for a respite stay. I received a call in the early morning hours saying that my mom was put on oxygen. Mom has never required oxygen and didn't need it when dropped off at this facility. Upon arrival I walked in and noticed that mom was flushed in the face and sweaty. I asked the nurse to check her temp. Mom's first reading was 102.9 the second was 99.8 and the third was 98.4. The nurse said I'll just take the lower number out of the three. The DON walked in and I asked her to check mom's temp again under the arm to get a more accurate reading. Mom's temp was 101.8. Mom was given meds to decrease the fever. What shocked me was the nurses inability to quickly evaluate and use clinical judgement to help my mother with her fever. When mom was dropped off I had given specific instructions to position the bed at a 45 degree angle at night. These instructions were not followed which caused a build up of excessive saliva and put mom at risk of aspiration. Toward the end of day I asked the nurse if she would sit mom up to get her a drink

Court House Manor was great with my sister. She went there for rehabilitation after being in the hospital for 18 days. Court House Manor all of the Nurses and Aides were great, they tended to her medical needs quickly when she pushed the call button. They also came in the room periodically to see if she was alright and needed anything. Physical Therapists were great working with her to meet her goals. The Physician and Nurse Practitioner were wonderful making sure orders and prescriptions was done and carried out asap. Social Worker made sure transportation arrangements were made for any off facility medical appointments and supplies she would need at home was delivered. Dietary Staff made sure my sister dietary needs were met. Infact the food was very good better than what she had in the hospital. The housekeeping staff kept the facility extremely clean. Activities Staff always had something on the weekdays, and most weekends. I would recommend Court House Manor for anyone needing short or long term care.

Do not recommend. My mother was there for Hospice care. There were staff/nurses there that were very conscientious and helpful. There were probably just as many that were not. I spent days with her there and took care of her myself. I the evening and at night she would call me in distress because her light had been going off for over an hour- sometimes two-laying on her own mess. If I called to ask someone to please check her- they took issue with it and then went to her room, frustrated and tossed her around in bed to change her. One nurse came in an accused her of being a liar- an 80 year old woman, dying of cancer. One nuse was consitently snarky to her. It got to the point where she was too intimidated to push her call button unless it was dire and her skin was burning. We had to hire a private person to come be with her when I couldn't. We discussed it with the administration and they made their excuses. For being short staffed-they could not locate the nurse who accused Mom of being a liar. If your loved one can care for themselves they are probably fine-but otherwise, just "no".
